BMJ Health & Care Informatics – official journal of the Faculty of Clinical Informatics

The Faculty of Clinical Informatics is delighted to announce the BMJ Health and Care Informatics (BMJ HCI) as its official Journal.

The journal (formerly the Journal of Innovation in Health Informatics) publishes international, peer-reviewed, high-quality research and evaluation, reviews, protocols, letters, commentaries and communication articles from authors in healthcare, social care and clinical informatics.

BMJ HCI focuses on how informatics can support developments and improvements in health and care services and aims to bring together academics and practitioners within the field. Core issues focused on include technology at the point of care, improving data quality, how to effectively engage patients, informatics governance and utilising big data.
