Nominations for the FCI's Council Elections are open!

The FCI will be electing eight new Council members and a new Chair Elect.
Nominations are open from Monday 7 February and close on 28 February.
Nominations must be supported by two FCI Fellows. You can find a list of FCI Fellows in our Member Directory.
Council members, led by the Chair, form FCI’s Council and serve for periods of two years. The Council has delegated responsibility from the FCI Trustee Board to make decisions about the Faculty's strategy and policy. More detail is included in the Council's terms of reference (available to download below).
This election is your opportunity to help shape FCI’s future as an organisation and hold us accountable to our Members. If you are interested, and would like to learn more about what the role of Council member entails, please join our 'Meet the Council' lunch time session on 17 February at 12pm.
At the Council elections, we will be also be looking for a Chair Elect.
The Chair of the Council has the responsibility of upholding the aims, objectives and values of the Faculty, act in its best interests and enhance its reputation. The successful candidate for chair elect will be elected as Chair of Council after one year without another election or any further process. This allows the successful candidate to learn more about the role and the workings of the Faculty during their first year in post.

‘Meet the Council’
On 17 February at 12pm, we will hosting a 'Meet the Council' lunch time session. At the session you can meet our current Council members, hear about how the Council works and ask questions about anything related to the Council or the election process.
